Valve adjusting shim kit for all Speed Six engines, contains 84 shims in a robust plastic partitioned box, in 0.05mm increments ranging from 1.85mm to 3.20mm, and laser etched with their size for ease of identification. This is an ideal starter kit for the serious DIY enthusiast or TVR workshop and whilst this kit does not cover the entire range the shims can be ground thinner to your required size using a local machine shop. There is a significant saving when buying this kit compared to buying individual shims.

This is the catalytic converter for the non 'S' engined Speed 6 cars. This catalytic converter has the 54mm outside diameter outlet pipe. The core substrate is a very high quality high flow product and should not be confused with other products on the market. It is 200 cell, heavily doped, and fully brazed for durability. Raceproved Speed Six Superlight Steel billet flywheels have been developed to increase engine performance. Horse power which would normally be absorbed by a heavy standard cast iron flywheel is now freed-up, and goes straight to the wheels. Extensive dyno testing has proven acceleration gains of 14 bhp over standard. A 39% weight reduction is achieved by using chromium molybendum steel instead of factory standard cast iron. Chromoly steel has fantastic tensile strength compared with iron, and therefore the flywheel is designed using much less material. Once machined, the flywheels are nitrided for durability, and to reduce wear from AP clutch butterfly spring contact. The starter ring gear is incorporated into the billet to produce an elegant one-piece flywheel. The gear tooth profile of our flywheels is bespoke, and has been optimised for the Speed Six. Our flywheels are made without compromise to the highest quality, giving your car a crisper throttle response and keen acceleration, whilst still retaining the smooth idle and superb driveability.
